Does that sound too good to be true? That you can make more money by working less?

It's absolutely true. It's true because 95% of the agents who join our program are spending too much time doing the wrong things.

In 1897, Italian economist, Vilfredo Pareto discovered an pervasive pattern in the distribution of income and wealth.

Simply put, 80% of a nation's income and wealth was acquired by 20% of it's population.

The more he studied these two sets of data (wealth & income plus the relevant population) the more intrigued he became.

Why? Because the pattern of imbalance appeared to have universal application.

Regardless of the period of time or the nation he studied, the law held constant.

Since then, economists and scientists of all disciplines have revealed the pervasiveness of this "law" throughout the universe.

How to put this law to work for you...

Whether the statistical relationship remains constant at 80/20 is not the point. The point is that there is a predictable and reliable imbalance between two sets of related data:

  • A minority of inputs are responsible for a majority of outputs
  • A minority of causes are responsible for a majority of consequences
  • A minority of effort is responsible for a majority of results.

The application for the insurance agent is both proven - and astonishing:

  • 20% of your actions are responsible for 80% of your income
  • 20% of your actions are responsible for 80% of your enjoyment (no small matter!)
  • 20% of your customers/products/carriers/personnel, etc. responsible for 80% of your profits - and so forth!

Conversely, you'll discover that:

  • 20% of your actions are responsible for 80% of your problems and losses
  • 20% of your actions are responsible for 80% of your lack of enjoyment
  • 20% of your customers/products/carriers/personnel are responsible for 80% of your problems and losses

The suggestion is obvious - and well documented among very successful, high income agents:

  • Ruthlessly refocus your time, resources and activities on the Top 20%.
  • Ruthlessly eliminate the time, resources and activities you spend on the on the bottom 20%.
  • Delegate the Mid 60%.

Once you "get" the power of this law, nothing will ever look the same. Carriers, customers, products, personnel, the way you spend your time. Nothing.
